Future Giving

Making a planned gift to the Be The Match Foundation® can benefit you in many ways financially while having a significant impact on our efforts to create connections and save lives. We are pleased to offer a wide variety of planned gifts to help you meet your philanthropic goals and maximize your tax-saving benefits. Planned gifts have many financial advantages including:

  • Deductibility for income tax purposes
  • Avoidance of capital gains tax
  • Reduction of estate tax
  • Increased income to you and your heirs

Some contributors may believe that planned giving is complex, but our job is to simplify it for you and help you take full advantage of the tax laws that encourage this type of charitable giving. The easiest type of planned gift to consider is a bequest made through your will.

A simple call to your attorney can designate a gift of cash, a gift of any asset, or even a portion of your estate to Be The Match Foundation. Please let us know if you add us to your will; if you allow us to, we would want to recognize and thank you appropriately.

We are happy to work with you so that your planned gift supports the specific area that you wish to impact. Whether your gift is unrestricted for general support, restricted to the research of a particular disease, or set up as a permanent endowment, you will be pleased to know that you can achieve certain financial benefits while making a tremendous difference to the patients we serve.

If you would like to learn more about making a planned gift to the Be The Match Foundation or discuss the many financially beneficial ways you can reduce your own tax obligations, please call (800) MARROW-2 or email questions@nmdp.org, and we will be pleased to help you.
